I liked that movie, maybe because it put Amanda on screen with Adrian Paul of Highlander fame

I guess I shouldn't have called it silly, because I've been sitting here watching it for the last 45 minutes and it's no worse than any ep of Stargate...plus it seems they filmed the last half in the same location as 2010...LOL!

I must admit when I first saw it I thought Eva was just a girly version of Carter. Amanda didn't have to leave her comfort zone for that role.

I thought that the graphics AT was pointing to on the computer screens looked a bit familiar also...and sure enough, the visual effects supervisor and the computer graphics supervisor were the same as on Stargate! (I LOVE IMDB)

LOL! And I believe Capt. Connor was in that one as the cop.

Canada probably has the same problem we do down here, a small acting community. Or rather there are a small amount of actors that are established and those are the ones that get used a lot. Half the cast of Farscape were either on Home & Away or Neighbours a one point in their career or in Claudia's case A Country Practice.

Just check out Xena and Herc, they recycled actors like no tomorrow

I thought the cop looked familiar.

Well Stargate does that too. The guy who played Simon in demons was also in Cor-ai and an episode coming up in the second half of Atlantis.
Paul Mcgillion was in Torment of Tantalus.
So they reuse a lot of people too.

PS.. "The Tomb" with the russians....I thought that was funny when I saw that episode for the first time. I saw them I was like: HEY THey both were in Chronicles of Riddick!! That's cool! A lot of people who appear in that show I already know from somewhere else it's kind of funny.
like the kid that played Jinto was in Dreamcatcher

This is why I started watching DaVinci's Inquest...for all the SG actors popping up in small parts, and even supporting roles. It is marvelous to see them in something else playing an ENTIRELY different character, not just another scifi guy in a crossover role or a sister show. Some of them can really ACT, too. Sometimes I am surprised at the marvelous quality of performance they bring to their roles on other shows, after seeing the small scenes they've played on SG1 and SGA. It's easy to stereotype actors if you only ever see them in one genre.

Speaking of which, Tom McBeath (((Harry Maybourne) is in a rerun of DaVinci's Inquest right now on WGN. (8pm EST US)

ETA: Peter Williams (Apophis) is in this ep also!

I just finished watching The Ultimate Christmas Present on the Disney Channel and who should pop up as an overbearing television executive but Robert Rothman (played by Jason Schombing). It was odd seeing the feckless Rothman in such an assertive role, but he had the same facial hair and voice.
