Its official, our own Dr. Beckett has audition for the role of Scotty in the upcoming Trek film (JJ Abrams). And Chris Doohan (Jimmy Doohan's son, the original Scotty) has endorsed Paul to play his father in the upcoming film.

Chris had this to say about Paul:

"I know that the chances that I would be the next Scotty are slim to none. That being said, I think Paul McGillion is a GREAT choice for the role of Scotty. He has a great accent and I think that he actually looks like my father. He would be a much better Scotty then McAvoy."

Well I think a Spin-pff based on Ba'al would be a very good Idea andd would force the PTB away from the formula of SG-1 and SGA so I'd like to see that.

What happens in that one? We're only just geting new NCIS over here in Australia ...... We're probably still way behind though I imagine. The most recent episode was Tony's car blowing up and everyone thinking he was dead.......
