I reckon when SG1 is nearing its end, they should start a third spinoff called:
Stargate: The Great Alliance
The spinoff would obviously be based in the past (10000+ yrs ago) when the Ancients/Nox/Asgard/Furlings were still joined by the alliance. It should be based on the sort of stuff they were up to those days. It would definitely be as successful as SG1 since it would bring so much answers to things fans have wondered about. Like showing the actual war in the Alteran homeworld/galaxy and how they moved to the milky way galaxy, how they met the other 3 great races, what the humanoid asgard were like (since they would have had emotions back then), how the whole alliance handled the plague, what role the furlings played in the universe, whether the alliance helped in the Pegasus galaxy, new unknown aliens that existed before the Ancients used the Dakara weapon to reseed the Milky Way galaxy, whether or not the Nox were different those days, what the flaw in wraith technology was that the Aurora was trying to inform Atlantis of, an episode showing when Weir comes through the time machine for the brief appearance in Atlantis, etc.
Any comments?
