A New Stargate Movie Ultimate Edition

Hey

Im just wondering, with MGM and other companies re-releasing their libraries in Ultimate Edition form (new transfer, DD 5.1 & DTS) will we be seeing a re-release of Stargate ?

As i think we all know, the current one from 2002 is rather terrible.
The transfer is crap, grainy, washy etc and the 5.1 mix is not exactly super either.

I would really like a truly ultimate version of Stargate, in a similar vein as to Terminator 1 Ultimate, Rocky Anthology etc.

So, what are the chances ?
And do we know anything.

I didn't like the movie very much, I think they should re-release SG1 in HD

I got it a few weeks ago so that I would have something to do recouping from surgery. It was pretty good IMO. I'm not entirely sure which scenes are completely new or were just cut from the one that Sci-fi always shows (the only way I'd seen Stargate before the DVD).
