The Stargate Movie Book adaptation

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone else had read the book of the Stargate Movie? I saw a second hand copy in a bookstore recently, complete with pictures, although sadly the thing which spoilt it for me was the writer's insistence on calling O'Neill and his men "Marines". As a military geek, I believe the correct term would be "Airmen", as from my understanding O'Neill was undoubtedly an AF Colonel, and even if he had been a Marine serving on detached duty or exchange with the AF, he'd have still been wearing a Marine Corps Uniform.

That's nice surely but I'm always interested to know how many pages it takes authors to tell a story.

I got it off Ebay. It does follow the script(ish) but because its written by the movie writers, they took the liberty of putting extra stuff in that they wanted in the movie,
