i've been watching a lot of SG1 lately (yay for boxsets) and everytime i hear the SG1 intro music i can't get him singing the lyrics out of my head.

he may not have wrote it, but he was the one singing it (over the others) when i heard it. its him singing it i can't get out of my head when i hear the lyrics.

the lyrics are so catchy, damn them all.

Wow. On some other dedicated show forums, you would have been lynched just for the title... even though the follow-up was pretty good tongue in cheek humor. I suspect that a thread called "I hate David Kemper" or "I hate Gene Roddenberry" posted in jest would have a short halflife on some forums.

lol. My mother heard the lyrics, and now it drives her crazy. Every time she hears the theme song, she can't help but think of the goofy lyrics. She says it ruined the theme song for her. Me, I can block it out of my mind, and the song is still great.

there is also 2, maybe 3 (but i think 2) earlier episodes on the season 4 boxset which appear to have DeLuise attempting to make up lyrics on the spot but they aren't as good, although worth listening to.
