id go for the reps...sorry guys but the alterans lost to the wraith. they can lose to the reps. the asgard a re more advanced than the ancient ( now) and they could easily beat down the wraith. so why didnt the ancients, because they did not have an instinct for conquestion, they didnt needed therefore didnt prepare against it. thats why they would lose, we only got the disruptor because oniel human ( agreeisive and miliaristic mind) was enhanced with thier knowledge.
plus the replicator had the power to defeat the asgard, which i a pretty big deal.

no asgard aren't more advanced than the alterrans. by thor's own admission early in the series. they have some better tech namely the beaming tech that's all.
