    And here I thought it was some kind of bizarre online marriage proposal.

    Amanda directing an Atlantis ep might be interesting. Wouldn't have to worry about acting AND directing in the same ep, at least. Although it might make for a longer commute, depending on where each show is filming...

      AFAIK both shows are filmed at the same place, so the commute wouldn't be too bad

      I'd love to see Amanda direct again, I thought she did a great job directing "Resurrection" even if it was only a mediocre episode IMO.

        Yeah, but if one show is filming scenes in Nanaimo and the other is off in Squamish... the running back and forth could get tiring, depending on how the schedules work.

          I'd give her a chance if the ep was a Sam-Lite one. Directing and acting is takes its toll.

                Yes let Amanda direct!

                She did a fantatic job with her in the episode
                alot, just think what she could do if she
                could devote more time to an episode where she
                had a small part in it or if she got to direct
                Alantis.
                Also she got nominated fist time out so surely
                that must count for somethig

                    Good I'm glad to see people supporting this without diverting the thread into other areas - now to increase the chances of some studio lurker seeing this - could some more of the 140 readers who have remained in lurk mode so far please also post the magic words - with or without comments -
