Ayana had plague before Atlantis left earth (unless she got it while under the ice)

Ancients (like Merlin) lived among humans after atlantis returned.

I have no idea how much time is between these events.. but in Frozen they were talking possibly millions of years, and we can safely assume it was a loooong time since life in Pegasus galaxy would have had to go from seeded to highly advanced before the ancients left.

Is it plausable that the ancients could live with a plague for millions of years?

We think Merlin did not have the plague and Ayiana was cryogenically frozen

but if aiyana had the plague before Atlantis left for the pegasus galaxy then that would mean that the Atlanteans would have been around (in the MW) while the plague was present and they lived with it all through their stay in the pegasus galaxy.

Also, even if Merlin did not have the plague, I think the line from the Ancient in SGA, that he was going to continue his experiments was a direct link to the time device in Window of Opportunity where it was said that the device in that episode was an attempt by the ancients to avoid the plague.

we dont actually know that she had the plague
all we really know is that she had some desease that may or may not have been the plague that whiped out the ancients

if she did have the plague, then that could be y she was left behind, we also dont know how long between atlantis leaving, and her being frozen was, so she could have got it awhile after atlantis left
