    Tok'ra Asgard question?

    Why haven't the Tok'ra asked the Asgard to clone Edra?

    Since Symbotes have gentic memory, even if they clone her from one cell, the clone would wake up and think its Edra.

      Maybe the Tok'ra have a clone of Egeria, they would never tell anyone
      Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini => three of the world's worst dictators.

      Also failed artist, failed priest, and failed grade-school teacher.

      What we should learn: Don't trust artists, be wary of priests, and fear your teachers!

          The Tok'Ra's only way to reach the Asgard is through earth and since they broke the alliance, they have no way of contacting the Asgard. Plus it's possible that the Asgard have the same problem with cloning as we do, clones age very quickly up to the age of the source material.

            I dont think the Tokra even need the Asgard for cloning. The rouge NID and Alec Colson cloned symbiotes and an Asgard. Surely the Tokra have such basic technology. Perhaps they dont clone out of cultural reasons or dont really care about reproduction. The goal of the Tokra is not survival or continuation but the destruction of the Goa'uld. With their goal complete the Tokra wouldnt mind withering away.

                            Wouldn't the clone retain the damage they sustained? The Asgard probably use some basic template and that is why they have degraded. They otherwise transfer their minds. Could that even be done to a Symbiote? Or is it all basically genetic memory?
