Stargate Rewatch: SG-1 Season Four Nominations

Hard to vote before starting the rewatch of my fav season, but here goes..

•Best Episode (Season Four): Beneath the Surface. Throughout the season the team is torn apart emotionally, physically and philosophically. This ep epitomizes how their connection to each other and to their cause cannot be severered for long.
•Best Jack Moment: He's forced to make some terrible decisions this season, so I'll focus on a good one...to learn Latin! Even while juggling.
•Best Daniel Moment: In The Other Side, Daniel has to face down the authority around him, but the strength of his convictions and his 'no quit' character finally persuades.
•Best Sam Moment: I really think Amanda Tapping did an amazing job acting in Entity.
•Best Teal'c Moment: Enduring torture staying true to his cause in Serpant's Venom
•Best Hammond Moment: Deciding to step down to protect his family in Chain Reaction was a very courageous thing to do.
•Best Team Moment: Near impossible choice. Working together in The Other Side to correct a grievous wrong.
•Best Alien Race: The Aschen in 2010. Patience is a virtue.
•Best Goa'uld Villain: Osiris, The Curse. Anna Louise Plowman
•Coolest Technology: I'll agree with the earlier assertion of the 2010 transporter platforms
•Best Guest Star (based on one specific episode): Martin Lloyd, Willie Garson Point of No Return

Best Sam Moment
Carter using an active stargate that is connected to P3W-451 to blow up a sun to wipe out Apophis' fleet ("Exodus)"

Best Teal’c Moment
Teal'c finally gets his revenge against Cronus when he and his robot double succeed in killing the System Lord. ("Double Jeopardy")

Best Hammond Moment
Hammond's resigning from being Commander of Stargate Command when the N.I.D. blackmails him into retiring by threatening his granddaughters.

Best Team Moment
SG-1 (along with Dr. Fraiser) making the ultimate sacrifice to get the warning note back through time to prevent the de-population of Earth at the hands of the Aschen. (2010)

The end of WoO when Jack makes the heartbreaking talk of how he would love to have his son back but, could never live through losing him again. Chills and spills - tears that is, everytime, no matter how many times. He is so tough and yet, so vulnerable at the same time.

Sam's "dumb" idea saves the Asgard's home planet by blowing up their new flagship, the O'Neill. ("Small Victories")

After having destroyed the new mothership, Sam, Jack and Daniel apologize for having defied orders to destroy it. Teal'c refuses to apologize with them, since he was actually following orders. ("Upgrades")

Hammond has to make a hard decision and resign after his granddaughters are threatened. (Chain Reaction)
