I honestly wasn't prepared for such first class acting, and such a three-dimensional, emotionally complex character as Crichton. Altough I remain a Jack fan, I can only hope that Ben is welcomed and loved by SG-1's fans and the show makes a good use of his talent. The man plays from the heart, he deserves it.

As a long time FS fan and Browder (and Black), I just had to say thank you for such a lovely comment. There's been a lot of vitriol on the forums about Browder and Farscape; it's good see that there can be a more balanced view.

David, thank you for the great interview. I've always thought Browder was a self-deprecating, "nice" guy; he doesn't seem to have any prima donna in him and also seems to have his priorities in the right place.

I also liked the inclusion of the photo with Francesca Buller (Mrs. Ben). She's a very talented actress as well.

      David,

Thanks for another great and fun interview. Having seen about half the Farscape episodes before Ben joined SG I was looking forward to his addition to the show. My opinion of Ben the actor has really increased after seeing him twice this year at cons. I hope when it is convent wil his family and work life that he will do a SG con. He is quickly becoming someone I really enjoy see and hearing speak at these events.

I, and several others, will commence blogging anywhere from a few days to the next two weeks. We've rounded up an initial troop of fan bloggers to launch it. I'll kick it off with a brief entry and then jump into in-depth reviews of the AT and BB interviews. More on this later.

Very, very confusing both on and off the show!).
I'm not confused because BB doesn't contradict them. He answered a question about fan reaction to Cameron's introduction. He talked about the real-life military (people are introduced to different commands in real life) and he talked about AT being unavailable early in season 9. I agree that there are good reasons why they introduced Cameron the way they did. He doesn't say that Cameron and Sam aren't sharing command responsibilities for SG-1 since Sam's return.

I think BB would be surprised if we inferred that his view is different from his other writer/producer/actor colleagues just because he doesn't mention it when asked a question about the fans' perception.

ps thanks very much David for this interview, and thanks to BB for giving his time to do it.

Fantastic interview David! Also I loved the voiceover at the end of the credits. Hope to see more interviews please.

Also can't wait to read your blog.

Also Ben coming down to see you is typical Ben-he's a very thoughtful and sweet guy, as is Hank.

(how many "also's" can one person get in one post? lol)

What a wonderful way to spend half an arn of my life! That was soooooooo fun! He's such an endearing, humble, gem of a man.

And when talking about whether he was going to do SG cons, he said he was on his way to make his "ANNUAL" pilgrimage to the Farscape con to thank us. What an angel!

VERY cool/surreal seeing fellow Ben-respecters with him at the end, too. FRELLING AWESOME!!!
