Hi there!

It will be a Web site exclusive, originally. But it may go to higher heights.

It would be truly cool if Sci-Fi wanted to showed your film. It would give the 'less-than-avid' stargate fans an inside look at the 'real' fans. It sort of would remind me of "Trekkies", only way cooler. Heck, Gaters ARE fundamentally cooler..! Well, not to give trekkies a bad rap (I used to be one, and still am to a point), but I saw Trekkies, and it was... um... Interesting. Just your trailer kicked its... um... rear.

Ooh... just saw the trailer, then saw the date on the first post, and feared the project was dead. Glad to see the last page has been 2006 however ... hope you'll have enough footage after this week.

We don't know but I am afraid that it is dead General Gater. You would have to ask David. Perhaps he could bring new live into it.

Phenomenon is most certainly not dead. Every time you see a video interview it means I've come slightly closer to completion. But I'm not satisfied with the amount of fan footage I have so far for the piece. This is entirely my fault, as I have not sat down with enough of them to do so.

I plan to be at Creation's Chicago con this year. It's my hope that, aside from celebrity interviews, I'll be able to pull up a couple of chairs and do some more shooting.

well that would certainly be very interesting, so how many fans have ya got that have been acting totally crazy while on camera?

No one really going crazy. When I was in LA I filmed my young cousins, whom I've converted into huge Stargate fans, and they recited Stargate's quotables word-for-word for the camera.

Just thought I'd let you know that interest in your project is definitely not dead either..! I'm sure that you'll do a great job if the teaser was any indication. Just don't be 'too' perfectionist about it..! We actually want to see it before we die of old age...

It's actually nice to see Stargate getting the "Trekkies" treatment, as it was a documentary I enjoyed, although couldn't you have went for a more SG related name?

I look forward to seeing the final product, and please get some of of the fans who put fan in fanatic. I'd enjoy seeing just how devoted people are.
