And a question for Stalekon, where was that picture of the model from. man i wish they would release a purchasable model like that, would be a killer model to have on display in your house

^ Maybe. Or the Browns. It's also possible that it got so damaged by whatever put so many holes in Destiny that it fell apart completely.

It's possible that, like you say, it sustained damage. I mean, if it wasn't clamped onto Destiny properly Destiny's shield wouldn't have enveloped it. Then all it would take was for Destiny to make an FTL jump and the shuttle would be vaporized.

Why? Presumabily the ancients would have not lost any/damaged any like we have.
