What to sent Destiny if we get a 30s window

OK first if they send jumpers they will never get the things out of the gate room unless they connected with Destiny gate that was close enough gate away from the ship and fly back. That thing could be sitting there a while.

My top 5 list would be.

1.) Personal that should be on a mission like this.

2.) Depending on how much the garden they have puts out either a real hydroponics rig or what ever they need to improve the one they have.

3.) Medical supplies / equipment.

4.) Long lasting energy weapons like Zat's or if the earth answer can go as long without a recharge.

5.) Naquadah power generators to boost the shield and get them into places they can't now.

All of this assumes Destiny has spare parts on it that haven't been mentioned in those boxes we see every so often.

Would a PJ even fit through the gate? Destiny's gate seems slightly smaller than the Pegasus or MW Gates, and PJs fit perfectly through those gates so they might not fit through Destiny's gate

I don't think the Destiny gate is smaller, it would just make sense as disembarking the destiation gate could be affected if the gate was smaller.

The physical prop of the gate is definitely smaller. They mentioned this in a video on MGM's site, it was necessary because something close to the size of the original would be impossible to spin safely.

But 'in universe' speaking, the size should be the same.

A puddle jumper should fit easily, there's plenty of space around the gate - and above it so they can stack them on top of each other (or hover above the gate).

A dart is roughly the size of a jumper so it should fit just fine.

Do like Jamus's people and modify some dart beaming systems. Mount them on M.A.L.P.s and send them through. That way you can send a lot more stuff.

Ammunition, medical supplies, Naquahdah generators, medical equipment, a shield generator for the gate (acts like an Iris), proper computers, a couple life signs detectors, additional weapons (especially Zats, P90s. grenades, C4, shotguns, and wraith stunners), HEV suits, EVO suits, welders, plasma torches, Xboxs/PS3s for entertainment, as well as some TVs and games, food, and any personal items they request.

In that order of priority.

-The PJ's are a sound idea, especially with the 30s window. Their accelleration/braking ability would make them a good delevery method. Especially if the the first rose to give braking clearance for the second.
-a combination Asgard Beam/replicatior device: This would anwser the question of getting the PJ's out of the gate room and the ship, then they could even store the PJ's in the storage room from Faith or elsewhere if needs be. Plus the replication ability would be the best solution to repairs to the ship.
-a set of the latest naquadah gens: Power assistance and fail safes for when Destiny starts rationing.
-Seed stock / Animal stock: chickens, rabbits breed and grow quickly with minimal space. tofu is a good idea.
-medical supplies
-medical/science equipemnt for a full lab
-energy based weapons: Earth reversed engineered Zat's likely.
-a shipment of upgraded laptops/ Ipads / whatever: at least one for each member.
-probably not paper copy, but digial copy of as much reading and media as they could store (once they each have a digital device they don't need to paper write)

Even if it could fit through the gate, the gate room itself is rather small. So where would you put the PJ?

Indeed they should. At least one member from the teams going offworld should have the ATA gene or the gene therapy. There are no side effects so why not.
