You could send almost anything through in 30 seconds, but now that I think about it, 1 second is not enough but 3 would give the 'object' enough time to make it to the Destiny. If earth knew of the time contraints before hand then they could send a few bags of supplies but there wouldn't be enough time to send a puddle jumper or anything big like that.

Asgard Beaming Technology to make stuff, and extra power sources for it to keep it running till they can make enough repairs to draw power from Destiny itself, and then they can repair/recharge till the ship was fixed.

A PJ would be great, but how would you get it out off the room? You basically need an airlock of that size.

Naquada Generators, lots of naquada generators... it would allow them more power to explore more of the ship, give the shields and weapons a boost when they need it, maybe even speed up the ftl

well you wouldn't need to get out of the room, you just need to get out of the way of the Kawoosh and then you could just use it to explore planets.

I might also ask, during that 30 seconds, what data would you send to earth from Destiny, and what data would you send to Destiny from Earth. How would you prioritize that information?

A compressed burst of data in either direction could go a long way.

Jumpers would fit, but keeping them in the gateroom isn't wise. They need tools to break out the roof of the gateroom. This way, the jumpers aren't the first things to be blown when aliens enter destiny.

Indeed they should. At least one member from the teams going offworld should have the ATA gene or the gene therapy. There are no side effects so why not.

AFAIK it's not difficult to mass produce viols of it. It was just a deactivated retrovirus. We do this all the time for flu vaccines.

Why would SGC personel need the ATA gean when you don't need it to use Anicient technology in the MW, you only need on Atlantis or to use Anicient outpost in Antartica.
