I believe that most blu ray are not region locked even though they say that are. There is a website somewhere out there on the web that has a list of titles that work in England. So there is a chance that you will just be able to get the Region 1 version, which i will be doing if it does not come out in England.

Me too. It really annoys me that they think they can get away with releasing it in DVD and not in Blu Ray here

Me too. For what it's worth, last year when the final season of Prison Break was released on DVD it did not get a Blu-Ray release. However, it was released on Blu in Europe a few months later. Prison Break, like SGU, is distributed on home video by Fox so there is a chance that release may follow a similar pattern. We'll just have to wait and see.

Both Play and HMV have added Stargate Universe Season 1 Blu Ray. Same date as the DVD, more expensive but who cares. The Destiny in 1080p...worth it.

Yeah, I pre-ordered it right away. Just as I was getting used to the idea of having to resort to Standard DVD for it, they throw Blu Ray at us
