Like has been said before on this topic: the entire dialing system in the show is FUBAR: address glyphs being used as point of origins (not necessarily a problem), ~5-10 thousand-year-old constellations being used on multi-million-year-old Stargates, an address system that makes absolutely no sense, etc.
