actually, once we start embracing the asgard technology a little more and are able to make like 10 or more ships a year in the U.S. alone, which would be toatally possible since the asgard could make an oniell size ship(s) in a year or 2 so making a lot of 304s should be easy by comparison, but anyway, once were able to make a lot of ships fast, i think we should build 303b's which would basically be the exact same ship with the same look, only with major changes on the inside like upgraded power distribution systems, improved shields, and anything else the 304s have got. technically it wouldnt really be a 303 because it would be gutted almost completly but with the exact same exterior look.

since 303s are smaller than 304s they would be a very nice cruiser and we could assign 2 303s to each 304 and that would be a standard battle group in addition to the 32 302s that all the ships combined are carrying. and the 303 would pretty much be as strong as the 304s except that they are quite a bit smaller and having 3 ships to divert a hives fire to would make the overall shield strenght of the battlegroup last much longer.
