The whole ship is 1500(the max size) i wanted it big to hold as many fighters as possible and to have heavy armour, to defend itself and others.

The Sixth Challenge

Of the challenges so far there has not been anything in the spectrum of a fighter carrier. And that brought me to make this the sixth challenge, a Fighter Carrier. As always I’m issuing the rules for the technology requirements. There are to be no technologies that are not currently on the show or seen on the show. And a new one is scaling is to be within 1500 meters. This is due on April 25th 2009 Midnight EST. Cheers and Happy Modeling!

My only problem with fingers design is the infusion of Battlestar, I never got into the series. I saw fingers stargate/ Battlestar creation on RJB's "callingallstargatefans" website in feb, at the time I felt the huge braces/ struts were not my thing but they do enforce the feeling of heavily armoured ship. I now kind of ignore the Battlestar feel and just look at the ship itself, enjoying the design itself rather than its inspiration.

So many people rave about Battlestar that I sometimes feel missing the series is a shame and with SGU following the pattern of Battlestar perhaps I should go out and buy the box sets to see what people really like about?!

Are you a big fan? I admit I saw an episode in which they a couple where on a planet running around...but it seemed so hard to understand as I had missed all the early episodes.

Will look into buying the first season.

edit: How many seasons and what is razor...is it part of a season?

I know we are creating a fighter carrier but is it allowed to add a landing bit for a bomber or other craft on the carrier?
