He just defeated Ba'al with his own grandfather and they went together on this picture. He knew his grandfather, but his grandfather didn't know who he was, but he didn't have a child or did other mayor things, because that would have screwed the timeline according to stargate (Mobius, Before I sleep)

Technically shouldn't he have disappeared just after killing Baal like the Tok'ra at the beginning? Because it seems to me that there is still :
- 1 universe where Baal killed O'Neill and everyone died
- 1 where everyone is dead and Cronos is still bombarding the planet from orbit
- 1 where everyone is fine (except Baal the Last System Lord....)
