    Highly improbable?

    Lets begin:

Ancients, bad at war. Asgard, hardly any better. We saved their bacon many times. Nox? War? What is that?

None of the great races were great at war. That is a given.

Tollans, same as the Nox. To'kra? Hell, they couldn't defeat the Gaould in 5,000 years, Earth did it in 8 years.

    Who are we left with?

Wraith (Earth is owning them with what, 1 or 2 ships, already Earth destroyed 17 Hives, imagine with well over 50+ 304's! and 10's of millions of heavily armed soliders). The Wraith are goners. Same Wraith that owned the Ancients at their height.

In 100 years from, all the soliders will have killer armor (variant of super solider armor), energy weapons, some will have personal shields...

Gaould? Bah, only with the 303 sometimes, Earth owned them. Earth will become the Ancients in some sense, but so much better at war and in far far greater numbers. Gaould are definite goners.

So you see, it is not that improbable, given what Earth has already accomplished with so little. Imagine when Earth has so much.

Earths greatest accomplishment is left for AoT.

Ok I have to say when I saw the title to this thread it sounded like a joke.

The Ancients at the height of the empire would stomp us into mush. Especially considering the fact that the technology we do know the Ancients had only scratches the surface. Sure they weren't an aggressive race like us, but they sure could defend the hell out of things they held. Knowing us we would fooslishly waste resources, men and tech against a far superior enemy until we had nothing left and the Ancients were still sitting pretty behind their uber-defended city-ships.

I still think that "We're better fighters" stuff is just crap. Look at the Asgard, they weren't aggressive or good fighters but the could kick the crap out of pretty much anyone they wanted save the replicators.

Besides if Earth could kick the crap out of the Ancients they might as well end the series now because there would be nothing of interest left for them to make a story out of.

^The series is made in such a way that by far and above Earth is the best at war.

I would suspect that if all of those things would come to pass like you said and Earth became an empire strong enough to wipe out all of its enemies but yet retained our warlike tendancies we would eventually turn on ouselves and start a civil war that would annihilate us. It is the way things. You can't be a warrior with nothing to fight.

Earth is going to retain war like tendancies for a long time, however there are many enemies to kill in the universe.

With the latest Asgard stuff, Ancients stuff, Rome/Earth will be expanding.

The Ancients were fighting an enemy cloning millions of soldiers a day... how well do you think we'd do against the Wraith in their hayday? And the Asgard were fighting an enemy that we were uniquely suited to fighting; anything else they would hame stomped to the ground. And even then, we needed an ANCIENT weapon to beat the Replicators.

None of the great races were great at war. That is a given.

Not really... we wouldn't fare much better in their circumstances, I guarantee you.

Tollans, same as the Nox. To'kra? Hell, they couldn't defeat the Gaould in 5,000 years, Earth did it in 8 years.

Earth was extremely lucky, as pointed out by SG-1 many times. All the Goa'uld had to do was send a fleet to Earth and we would have been wiped out in Seasons 1-6. The Tok'ra way is MEANT to be slow, remember. They wanted to destroy the System Lrods through attrition, not outright combat.

We're never going to get 50 304s. If the Program goes public so we can build that many, we'll probably destroy ourselves within a year. And we can't field a 10 million man army; even today, the only nation with an army over ONE million is China.

In 100 years from, all the soliders will have killer armor (variant of super solider armor), energy weapons, some will have personal shields...

                Fanwaaaaank...

Gaould? Bah, only with the 303 sometimes, Earth owned them. Earth will become the Ancients in some sense, but so much better at war and in far far greater numbers. Gaould are definite goners.

We never owned the Goa'uld with 303s. Prometheus-class ships never engaged ha'tak except in "Lost City," and even then it nearly got destroyed.

So you see, it is not that improbable, given what Earth has already accomplished with so little. Imagine when Earth has so much.

Earths greatest accomplishment is left for AoT.

AoT is fankwank gone bad, filled with so many plotholes and rediculous ideas it's a stain on the entire franchise.

North Korea = nearly 1 million army strong
                  China of course.
                  Soviets at the height.

WWII, many countries had armies over 1 million.

Luck? Can't get lucky always. Earth has defeated far more powerful enemies than the Ancients could ever hope to defeat.

Futhermore, we saved Ascended arse, they would have been wiped out by the Ori.

We saved Asgard arse, would have been wiped out by the MW Reps (Asgard probably fighting them for many centuries, we get victory over them in 5 years).

If the Asurans were not surprised by the Ancient attack (drones? lol), they would have wiped out the Ancients (could build everything the Ancients could with far greater pace). Earth took out Asurans within 1 year!

                  etc and etc.

RESULTS dictate that Earth (declared the Fifth Race by the Asgard), are the greatest, ONE RACE TO RULE THEM ALL.

I think it goes something along these lines:

Great Tauri armies with gather and go forth to conquer all who opposes them.

                    =)

The asurans had a law in their base code preventing them from attacking the ancients. This was mentioned in at least 3-4 episodes. Watch the show man

Doh, obviously. McKay took that away.

Now they can attack and kill Ancients (which they did very easily to the crew of the Tria).

So Asurans vs Ancients, I'd take the Asurans.

Take the Asurans at their height vs Ancients at their height, both can kill each other, I'd bet on the Asurans.

Tollans, who had they ever defeated? Exactly, nada. Those fools get wiped off easy, and if not for us, by a single Ha'tak, forget about Annubis!

Tauri, second coming of the Ancients. Version 2.0 is of course far superior to the original.

Too bad biologically we are still infants compaired to the Ancients. Yeah, um faaaar superior. Yeah right. Tech wise we are exactly like the Goa'uld since we filched everything good from more advanced races or had it given to us.
