Voyager - A modified shuttle craft was able to withstand 2 shots from the Borg Cube.

So it is not unreasonable to assume that the latest and mightiest ship in Starfleet can withstand about 30 shots from the Cube. You saw the extensive damage that quantum torpodoes did to the Cube and later the sphere.

The Borg sphere fired several times on the Enterprise-E, hardly causing any damage at all.

Borg weapons are not that powerful - 1 shot kills. 1 shots kills = species 8472,whose weapons have massive firepower.

That battle had lasted a long time, so those ships facing the Borg Cube have taken many shots, thus if you see 1 shot kills, that is because their shields have already been depleted during the battle.

One shot from a Borg will not kill a Federation Starship. It will take the Borg time to adapt to the new shielding on the different ships. IIRC in Q-Who the borg first lowered/penetrated the E-D's shields with a Tractor beam then cut into it. True they wanted to assimilate it and not destroy it. The Borg are a perfect example of Plot device, they adapt there weapons according to the plot like most shows, but since they have the whole resistance is futile thing going, it doesn't seem like a plot device.

1 Ori ship will be killed, using ST technobabble. Something to do with triaxialting phasers combined with a pulse from the deflector dish or something like that

Nope, because the Ori are hallowed. And allowed to bust anything on their path.
Notice the lack of solid arguments by the way.

It's a Sci-fi Vs debate you really expect solid arguments? Don't remember all the posts but at least no one mentioned Q snapping his fingers

Yeah, because I treat those debates dead seriously.

Wait, it's a question of life or death.

Now, you say Q? I say Ori. A whole galaxy of Ori.

Ori beam will destroy a Cube in 1 shot.

              2 Cube as well.

3rd Cube will adapt and the Ori ship is *****ed.

You can't just "adapt" to every single attack that comes against you...
Some of the people on this board seem to thing that the word "adapt" is a word only heard in Sci Fi and that it refers to overpowered races being able to withstand any weapon attacks and therefore run around beating the crap out of everything. Adapt simply means to change to fit the situation... and you cannot adapt to every single situation. The Borg are not so powerful that after coming under fire once from a species, they will hit the big red "Adapt" button and there-after be immune to all weapons fire from said species. It doesn't work like that.

? uh yeah that's precisely why I said if they adapt, because they've already failed to do so in the past
unless you meant to quote another post..
