I don't know about that -- Once she ascends she vary well may learn the truth about the Ori and Ancients. If indeed the Ori are the evil ones and do not ascend their followers she could be our most powerful allie in the end.

The truth can change things -- remember in the grand overlay she was just a pawn of the Ori -- she might not take too well to that. This may be why the Ancients allowed her to ascend --- so that she would see the truth for herself, she could be fighting on the Ancients side now in the war of the Ascended.

It was the Prior's & followers who were the pawns. They've already said she was an Ori in human form & she knew the truth herself about what was really going on. Now that she is ascended, I doubt that she will change her ways at all. Instead, now that she has more power, she'll probably be a lot worse & more fanatical than ever.

Nah. She will see the folly of her ways, descend, and settle down in a house with a white picket fence, the 2.5 kids, and a dog. This after hitting the bar scene for a couple of years.

As long as it's with me (& me only), then that's perfectly acceptable!

So how does a female have sex and end up with 2.5 kids?

Just like how Enteprise got better even though people thought it wouldn't.
Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

That is an ancient mystery. For some reason, the average ideal family has 2.5 kids. We may need the Asgard help on this one. Of course, with a woman who has magical powers like Morena does, anything is possible.

If these 4 galaxies are colliding. Could it not already of happened? After all Galalaxies are light years away and the light we see is like looking back in time! There4 the biggest galaxy in the universe might already exist! Just not to are perspective!

                      Strange!

Also any1 in the UK there is a metor shower 2night i belive? At about 10ish?

I hate it when they say it will form one of the biggest galaxies in the universe...huh? How the hell do they know that? As far as we know the universe is infinate. We have no way to proove wheather it is or not, even our best radio telescopes cannot even see a fraction of a single percentage of everything thats out there. Its amazing that people as educated as those who work for nasa could make such a dumb remark. Now if he would have said one of the biggest in the known universe, that would be different.

Each of the four galaxies is at least the size of the Milky Way, and each is home to billions of stars.

The galaxies will eventually merge into a single, colossal galaxy up to 10 times as massive as our own Milky Way.

"When this merger is complete, this will be one of the biggest galaxies in the universe," said study team member Kenneth Rines of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.

The finding, to be detailed in an upcoming issue of Astrophysical Journal Letters, gives scientists their first real glimpse into a galaxy merger involving multiple big galaxies.

"Most of the galaxy mergers we already knew about are like compact cars crashing together," Rines said. "What we have here is like four sand trucks smashing together, flinging sand everywhere."

Galaxy collisions are a common occurrence in the universe. Our own Milky Way is fated to collide and merge with its neighbor, Andromeda, in about 5 billion years.

Astronomers have observed several clashes involving one big galaxy and several larger ones, and they have also witnessed more major mergers among pairs of big galaxies. But the new findings mark the first time major mergers between multiple hefty galaxies have ever been seen.

NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope serendipitously spotted the quadruple merger during a routine survey of a distant galaxy cluster, called CL0958+4702, located nearly 5 billion light years away. Spitzer's infrared eyes observed an unusually large fan-shaped plume of light emerging from a gathering of four blob-shaped elliptical galaxies. Three of the galaxies are about the size of the Milky Way, while the fourth is three times as large.

The plume turned out to be billions of elderly stars ejected and abandoned during the clash. About half of the stars in the plume will later fall back into the galaxies.

Spitzer observations also show that, unlike most known mergers, the galaxies involved in the quadruple collision are bereft of gas, the source material that fuels star birth. As a result, astronomers predict that relatively few new stars will be born in the new, combined galaxy.

im just a lil curious..but since it was 5 billion light years away, does that meen this technically happened 5 billion years ago as that is how long the light from those galaxies would take to get here?...i might be wrong, but im curious

Wait... didn't they say that Andromeda and the Milky Way are going to collide in 5 billion years? They didn't say that the Galactic collision was 5 billion light years away.

No it is 5 billion years (as in time). All us posters will be turned to dust by then, plus possibly the Earth being cooked due to our sun going red giant about that time.
