F-302's projectile cannon armament

What kind of projectile cannon is use on a 302?

Are they similar to railguns ? or replace with the Earth's plasma base energy weapon Dr Lee and Sam use in episode S10 "Bounty"

more similar to the traditional simple ordinary Earth fighter's Cannon armament?but in sapce there is no air for pneumatically driven cannon arment ,or air to cool the gun.

It's probably a variation of the M61 Vulcan cannon used by pretty much every other fighter in the US inventory. It would not require air to operate it, it would most likely either be powered by the exhaust gases or electrically driven. The only thing I can speak to is cooling but even then it might be possible to use the exhaust gases to cool the barrel (gas cools when it expands. Since there is no pressure it in space, it may well be that the continued expansion could be harnessed to provide a cooling effect) or there might be some other cooling mechanism. They would normally only fire in short bursts anyways, so they wouldn't achieve any appreciable cooling during that time even in an atmosphere. The speed at which the shots seem to move would also tend to support the idea that it is a conventional weapon, not a railgun.

PROBABLY NOT! 2 m61s is too much...there is no reason to put 2 m61s ins a plane. a single of cannon can fire 60 rounds per seconds.

Probably it was a single barreled cannon used on the Eurofighter.
