    That's an interesting idea. Do you have any references from the show that support it? If so, please cite them so I can check it out.

        Yep, they were apartly consumed by their beliefs.

        I'm guessing that once the Ori had found the power in being worshiped by humans, they decided to get followers through any means necassery.
