The Daedalus does not have launch bay to carry the Horizon missle.

This fight is basically one between a guy with a machinegun and a guy with a knife. Oh sure you can make up stupid bull**** scenarios like "well what if the knife guy dresses up like a ninja and jumps on the gunner's back from a tree in the dark huh, who wins then" but the fact of the matter is that's not going to be what happens most of the time.

Could the Daedalus ambush the Andromeda by dropping out of hyperspace right on top of it and firing a horizon at the same time. Maybe, if they strapped it to the back of a flying pig and were carful to take a hyperspace route through the frozen hells, but that's about as likely as Kevin Sorbo winning an Oscar I think.

When ever people start making up bogus idealized scenarios like this, which require both perfect performance from their side and nothing but idiocy or complete inaction from the other, it already amounts to a basic concession of defeat. It's like saying "well yeah, if we fight ordinarily I'd be screwed 6 ways from Sunday but if this, this, this and this circumstance all go my way and the opponent makes x, y and z mistake at the same time then I'll surely win.

Well yeah, and if Mike Tyson has a heart attack right after the bell rings I can beat him in a boxing match.

The Daedalus would have to launch all their missiles at once to get passed the Andromeda's PDL's. If they could get in close the rail guns would be the best bet. But with the experience the Daedalus crew have they would no doubt find away.

The Andromeda will just fire her defensive missiles and the Daedalus so now out of missiles. And with Rail Guns only they still wont be in range to get the rail guns to it her.

The Odyssey will just last a few minutes longer, but will still be destoryed.

Andromeda has a fullerene mesh hull that will make Daedalus railguns and nuclear weapons completely useless against her.

The Andromeda will stop the gatebuster before it reaches her, the Andromeda has survivied point singularity weapons which is more powerful than a gatebuster.

Point singularity weapons are insanely powerful since they go through anything, but tiny. One hit nearly destroyed the Andromeda.

The most powerful nukes in Stargate so far takes out large chunks of a planet, 200-300 mile radius is the explosion.

If a gatebuster lands solid on, Andromeda will get vaporized.

Yeah, Andromeda will destroy almost all or nearly all missiles launched at the ship. They can't stop Asgard particle weapons though. Slice and dice time.
