Exactly. Carter will only be in sixteen of the 20 episodes of Atlantis in season 4; I see no reason why she should show up in the very first episode to "save the day", when Sheppard and his team have a perfectly good track record of saving the city themselves.

Although I do expect Carter's ship to be loaded with Asgard technology when it arrives (maybe even complete with a Thor hologram!)

calhoun, thats she should have a thor hologram on board her ship and i agrre she shouldnt show up in the first episodes to save the day. give our team time to do that. back to the origanal post. the apollo came before unending happened. it just has the same old asgard beaming, hyperdrive, sheilds tech.the only new technology on the apollo is the horizon missle system.

her coming in a new ship most likely now with new asgard features and that suggest the apollo was biult before unending

but atlantis will not be lost for long let say 3/4 weeks ((3/4 ep) just talking), and than carter arrives in her ship

She can not be in the movies, atlantis and make her new ship in the same time, if it all happen in the same time frame, so the only logical explanation is in my view Thad unending is a couple of months before first strike.

So why is than not possible that the Apollo don’t got the new asgard teck

Unless the cast & crew have been lying to us, I'm pretty sure we can count out a Thor hologram. Mallozi & Michael Shanks have confirmed that Michael hasn't even been approached to participate in Stargate: Atlantis.

in first strike it is reasonable to assume that there is no Asgard on board the Apollo. there for they had already retreated to their home planet, but unending hasn't happened due to the lack of tech. or its possible, the Apollo had already left by the time unending happened, so it wasn't around to get upgrades.

but the deagulas may be able to get those upgrades.

At last, someone with same logic. Just because the Asgard have given us the knowledge doesn’t mean that we can put the upgrade into on DSC 304’s straight away.

i dont think that sam should come in a oneill class ship. we should keep the ships looking like human built ships. plus i think it is presumable that the asgard destroyed all of their oneill and daniel jackson class ships when they blew up their planet. otherwise why would they upgrade the oddesey if they were just going to give us some of thier ships?
