I think to save time and money, the CG guys "borrowed" some BSG models. Because the 4 engine ships kinda resemble the backside of a battlestar

yes they also have the side pods as well if you notice.

I can think of only two solid warships so far. I really hope that we will get to see detailed shots of new warships in the future.

I think that we would only see them coming from the Asurans at this point.
