Nah I think the supergate is very different from the normal Ori gate, due to size and assembly methods. The Ori gates were more then likely built long before the milky way gates, which in turn means they wont be as advanced as Atlantis gates. I will have to go with the Ori gates being a variation of the Milky Way gates, just with white Chevrons instead of red.

Yeah, if their rings are white and pretty, teir ships are white and pretty, and everything they have is basically an elegant version of what the Milky Way ancients had, then the stargate will probably be white and pretty.

The Supergate has no need to be pretty, nor time.
