Thats not what i meant, i only thought that you created this thread because you wanted know what people thought would be good ideas. You wanted serious suggestions, i thought. I think the thread is a great idea, and there are lots of good ideas, most are in fact. Its just that i go to the end of the thread each time looking to see the ideas and i have to go back like three pages and scroll through fifty people suggesting the Enterprise and the Voyager. If they even read the first page they would realise that ten people suggested the Enterprise and Voyager on that page alone. You talk about people posting on a thread just to talk smack and get another post. Those people came here as soon as they saw the nameing a ship title and thought it would be hilarious to say "I would name it The Enterprise!! that would be awesome!!", even worse, some were serious, and thought it was a good idea to show a complete lack of creativity in suggesting it.

Somebody should have come up with 'Jihad' by now.
'Mjölnir' (Thor's Hammer) doesn't sound easy, unless we're gonna have Swedish/Norwegian/Danish crew fly her. And the Asgard fleet must be using that name.
I'd say go with adjectives - i.e. 'Invincible', 'Formidable', etc. - because it's culturally neutral even though British Royal Navy has a knack for it.
'Enterprise' couldn't be an option before because the US Navy has CVN-65 Enterprise still in service. You don't double the name, you succeed it.
