    **snippity doo-dah**

DEAR STACY: Could you tell me what's up with Richard Dean Anderson? Is he planning on returning to television? I miss seeing him since he left "Stargate SG-1." -- Marianne O., New York

DEAR MARIANNE: Anderson recently returned to his role as Gen. Jack O'Neill for two episodes of "Stargate" and three episodes of "Stargate: Atlantis," which will begin airing Aug. 18 -- "SG-1's" 200th episode. He is still an executive producer of the series. He reprised his "MacGyver" character for a MasterCard Super Bowl commercial this year. He's been focusing on his personal life, especially as dad to 7-year-old daughter Wylie. He continues to be active in the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

APPEARANCE: July 2, 2006 "DEAD ZONE" (catch it now or in repeats)

A couple SG guest stars appeared in tonight's Dead Zone. West Coast fans still have the chance to catch it.

Halling from SGA appeared as a bad guy
Major Reynolds (um, is that his name?, the one from drat, the SG1 episode Orlin appeared in) is another bad guy

Sorry for lack of names, but it's late but I think those who watch the background characters know whom I'm talking about.

Opens nationwide on September 29, 2006

                    ABOUT FLYBOYS:

In 1914, "The Great War" - WWI - began in Europe. By 1917, the Allied powers of France, England, Italy and others were on the ropes against the German juggernaut. While millions of young men were dying overseas, arguing that the freedom of others was none of its business, America chose...at first...not to fight.

                    **snippity doo-dah**

Inspired by the true story of the legendary Lafayette Escadrille, Flyboys is directed by Academy Award winner Tony Bill (The Sting) and produced by Dean Devlin (Independence Day, The Patriot, Stargate) and Marc Frydman (Commander In Chief, The Jacket). James Franco (Spider-Man 1 and 2, Tristan & Isolde, Annapolis) stars with Martin Henderson (The Ring, Torque) and Jean Reno (The Pink Panther, The Da Vinci Code). An MGM release, Flyboys will open wide in the United States and Canada on September 29th, 2006.

ABC to Air The Path to 9/11
                          Source: ABC July 5, 2006

On September 11, 2001 the world stood still as terrorists used four planes as lethal weapons against innocent Americans. The 9/11 Commission was formed to determine how such an attack could happen, and its report documents the trail from the 1993 World Trade Center bombing to the tragedy of that autumn morning. The bipartisan commission effort created a comprehensive record of events and provides valuable insight into what must be done to protect the nation in the future.

ABC will present The Path to 9/11, a dramatization of the events detailed in The 9/11 Commission Report and other sources, in an epic miniseries event. The Path to 9/11 will begin on Sunday, September 10 and conclude on Monday, September 11 (8:00-11:00 p.m., both nights). The miniseries will air with limited commercial interruption.

Directed by David L. Cunningham (To End All Wars), the project stars acclaimed actor and Oscar nominee Harvey Keitel (Pulp Fiction, The Piano) as FBI agent John ONeill, an expert on al Qaeda and on Osama bin Laden at the time of the attacks. His co-stars include:...(major snippage)

                            (Thursdays at 10:00/9:00c this fall)

The network's description: "SHARK (Thursday, 10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) stars multiple Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner James Woods ("Ghosts of Mississippi," "ER") as Sebastian Stark, a charismatic, supremely self-confident defense attorney who, after a shocking outcome in one of his cases and a personal epiphany, brings his cutthroat tactics to the prosecutor's office. As the head of the Los Angeles District Attorney's High Profile Crime Unit, Stark works for Jessica Devlin, (Jeri Ryan, "The O.C."), the ambitious and accomplished D.A. who despises his ruthless strategies. Devlin teams him with a group of young prosecutors who are about to have the learning experience of a lifetime because, though Stark is seeking to redeem himself, he has no intention of cooling his underhanded approach to cases just because he's now working for the "good guys." Sam Page ("American Dreams"), Alexis Cruz ("American Family"), Sarah Carter ("Numb3rs"), Danielle Panabaker ("Mom at Sixteen"), Romy Rosemont ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation") and Sophina Brown ("Without a Trace") also star."

What did they leave out: It's basically "House" done as a legal drama.

                              PSYCH review - excerpt:

The cast is headed up by James Roday as Shawn Spencer, and Dule Hill as his partner, Gus. They make a good duo, with Hill being the straight man to Roday's schemer. Corbin Bernsen plays Shawn's ex-cop father, and Don S. Davis (Stargate SG-1) guest stars. Rounding out the cast are Maggie Lawson and Timothy Omundson as the police detectives who aren't quite buying everything Shawn claims to be, and Kirsten Nelson as the equally skeptical police chief.
