        Ronny Cox

        June 7, 2009

        'Imagine That'

Eddie Murphy seems to do his best when he appears in a movie with children.
Take his "Doctor Dolittle" films. Or "Daddy Day Care."

So, he's back Friday with "Imagine That," a comedy about a father whose
career is failing until his 7-year-old daughter's scribblings show him the way
        to return to success.

Yara Shahidi plays the child, with Ronny Cox as the boss of Murphy's
character. Also in prominent roles are Thomas Haden Church and Nicole Ari
Parker. Karey Kirkpatrick directs the script by Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson.

        Cast:
        Evan Danielson - Eddie Murphy
Johnny Whitefeather - Thomas Haden Church
        Olivia Danielson - Yara Shahidi
        Trish - Nicole Ari Parker
        Tom Stevens - Ronny Cox
        Dante D'Enzo - Martin Sheen

        EXCERPT:

Before long, Evan is a supernova at the investment firm where his soon-to-retire boss (Ronny Cox) is seeking a successor. The other candidate is Johnny Whitefeather (Thomas Haden Church), a self-styled mystic whose Zen-like affectations and faux-Native American gobbledygook barely disguise his ruthlessly competitive streak.

                      EXCERPT:

MONTREAL – Jewish Canadian actor Dmitry Chepovetsky has been cast in many motion picture, television and theatrical roles during his successful acting career. But he is particularly pleased to be part of The Baby Formula, a movie being released exclusively at the AMC Yonge and Dundas in Toronto June 19.

Chepovetsky acted in his first musical at 14 while in high school in Regina. He eventually ended up at Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto, training with David Rotenberg and Carol Rosenfeld, as well as Kate Hale at the Foursight Theatre. He started off by doing a lot of theatre, including a much-talked-about musical based on the trial of John Demjanjuk and others dealing with a spinoff of Joseph, a fable based on Joseph and the Amazing Coloured Dreamcoat called Remnants and another focusing on the Danish resistance. His numerous acting credits include stints on critically acclaimed TV shows and feature films such as The X-Files, Lucky Number Slevin and Stargate. He just got a straight to DVD feature called Driven to Kill, playing second to lead Steven Seagal in one of the latter’s typically violent features
