Welcome to GateWorld Forum! If this is your first visit, we hope you'll sign up and join our Stargate community. If you have questions, start with the FAQ. We've been going strong since 2004, are we are glad you are here.
We know Steve Bacic on Stargate SG-1 as "Camulus" and we're grateful that he's taking some time off his busy schedule to answer a few questions for our German website visitors.
A brief excerpt:
S-P.de: Various actors/actresses of Stargate SG-1 mentioned the fun factor of filming Stargate. Did you have fun at the set? Any little anecdotes from the set you would like to share?
SB: well, I got to see Chris Judge shirtless, ha, ha, actually it was a pretty quick visit with the good folks at Stargate, It was nice re-visiting Camulus. I never get to wear a kilt.
SGA - Nicole De Boer's NYC: Tornado Terror Airs Oct. 4:
Nicole De Boer (who is guest starring in Stargate Atlantis' season five episode, 'Whispers' tentatively scheduled for Sept. 5 on the SciFi Channel) had a new made-for-TV movie, NYC: Tornado Terror, that will now premiere on the SciFi Channel on October 4, 2008. This movie co-stars Sebastian Spence (who guest starred in Stargate SG-1's 6th season episode, "Allegiance.")
This movie had originally been scheduled on the SciFi Channel for June 14.
The SciFi Channel left this message on the movie site:
The SCI FI Saturday original movie NYC: Tornado Terror didn't air June 14 as had originally been scheduled. The network postponed it in the wake of the recent Iowa tornado that killed four teens.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience due to the schedule change.

Hello All,
A quick note to let you know that we have now opened the Gatecon 2008
FAQ section on our website (http://www.stargateprops.com). Click on
the Gatecon tab in the left panel of our homepage and you will be
taken to the FAQ section.
You will note that it has been divided into various sections:
The link to the VIP Photo Registration Page will become 'live' in the
next few days and we shall post an announcement as soon as this is
open.
We encourage you to check back from time to time as we may be
amending, updating and adding things to the FAQs.
Along with the Gatecon 2008 organizing committee, we at Legends are
going to do our best to ensure that you have a thoroughly enjoyable
event. I am in contact with Richard Dean Anderson almost daily as we
approach the event and I can assure you that he is really looking
forward to coming to this show. To illustrate this, let me share with
you an excerpt from one of his emails to me last week when we were
discussing the event. I have personally been running a bit ragged in
trying to get everything in place for him and he senses that I was
working my nerves to the bone! This then prompted the following
comment:
(Quote) "Stop immediately all this stress stuff........I will do
everything I can to make the experience for everybody an absolute
pleasure, if not a downright JOY." (End quote)
Very encouraging words for you all and I can add my assurance that he
really does intend to give you your money's worth. If there are any
stragglers out there who haven't yet purchased tickets, we encourage
you to do so soon.
Along with Richard, our guests and our 'surprise' visitors, this will
be an event you won't want to miss!
Kate Hewlett
But I digress. Even after the Patrons' Picks performances, there will be more
Fringe. The Diesel Playhouse will play host to the "Best of the Fringe" July
18 to July 27. The full roster of shows being extended there hasn't been
officially announced yet, but I have been told that Kate Hewlett's The Swearing
Jar
(blogged about here) and the country-rock musical The Christian Republican
Fundraiser in Dayton, Tennessee will be part of it. (The latter has some
excellent toe-tapping tunes by Grant Tilly and some obvious, but crowd-pleasing
jokes
about the so-called Red States. I've had the song "Mormons, Won't You Love
Your Gay Children?" in my head since catching it at the Cameron House earlier
this week.)
Maj. Gen. Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson), Col. Sam Carter (Amanda Tapping), Lt. Cameron Mitchell (Ben Browder) and Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks)

Stargate Atlantis is five years old tomorrow. That's an eternity in mainstream TV terms, but hardly anyone is apt to notice outside the niche of sci-fi TV.
That's a shame, because the made-in-Vancouver Stargate Atlantis, as with Stargate SG-1 before it, deserves credit for clinging to life and prospering in an increasingly fractured -- and fractious -- TV universe.
We really hope you saw The Swearing Jar by Kate Hewlett (pictured) at the
Fringe, because it just had its last performance yesterday evening. Funny,
compelling, and at times heartbreakingly sad, Hewlett's top-notch script
(developed
in the 2007 Tarragon Playwrights Unit) was brilliantly brought to life with
Geoffrey Pounsett's direction and an absolutely perfect cast.
excerpt on review of EUREKA Season 2 dvd set review:
Fans of Stargate SG-1 will want to note that there were five or six cameos,
most notably Michael Shanks as an offbeat alchemist in All That Glitters and Teryl Rothery as a grieving widow in God is in the Details (though the most fun
was Lexa Doig as the head of human resources practically raping Jack in
Maneater).
