(June 07 2006) - Now we know: Stargate Command makes the general, the general doesn't so much make the SGC.
What do I mean?
The new SGC commander, Gen. Landry, who took over at the start of Season Nine, first came off as brusque, almost unlikable. But the same once could have been said for Gen. Hammond, but Hammond quickly became beloved by his teammates and "Stargate SG-1" fans alike.
Hank Landry, too, has become a different, better leader once in the job.
