Hey there.

Since there are no official Stargate game I think we should start a mod thread where we can post different game mods that will turn it into Stargate.

I have only tested one but it is real good.

The Stargate Mod for Star Wars: Empire At War.

You play as either the Taur'i or the Goa'uld. As a human you start out on Earth. You can get access to different heroes (SG-1, Bra'tac, Hammond, Sheppard, Thor and so forth) and many different ships from the Tau'ri, Asgard and Ancient fleet.
All planets on the galactic map are planets from the series and are represented quite good.
Besides these two major factions you have many minor factions (Wraith, Asurans, Replicators, Grace, Tok'Ra, Jaffa Rebellion, Ori, Ashcen)

You can also send small teams thru the stargate to other planets (via the sabotage script) to bypass any orbital defenses.

The game also spans four galaxies (Milky Way, Pegasus, Ida, Ori Galaxy)

The team behind this mod are now making an even better version to the Force of Corruption expansion. There you can play as the Tau'ri, Goa'uld and the Wraith. The combat maps are also handmade. Stargate: The Pegasus Chronicles as the new version is called is probably gonna be released in 2010.

I suggest you all go check out Stargate The Last Stand. You need a source based game and its mostly multiplayer based but it is an awesome mod. Makes me wish the Alliance had been released

Stargate for GMOD
Gmod is a sand box game you have no gaols you just do what ever you want and fans cna make content if they have the coding and modelong skill required some have made stargate stuff.
well its kind of scattered as different people made diferent stuff but the main thing is the working stargates that can be used in game but there are also various weapons and bits of tech like rings asgard transporters Staff cannons cloaks sheilds and some vehicles so far an F302 (it has death glider guns for some reaon though but you can put maching guns on it) a fully working pudlejumper cloak, drones and all and a wraith dart with culling beam (no gun but you can change the colour of the staff canon blasts so i just set it to blue and then put one on the dart.

anothe mod in production is this one Stargate sg1 earths defence for Freespace 2 its going to be a stargate space sim though its early in development and desperatly need staff and exposure (hence me posting it)

yeah they are it seemed a bit pointless spending all that time when there was a viable model out there, so i asked zup if we could use it and he said yeah so were gonna use it but unfortuneatly the dialing scripts dont work with the game so were haveing to do them,
however we are modeling everything else dhd, the atlantis screen etc,etc.
plus we did have a stargate model but it wasnt as good as zups

did you know there are DHD models to go with zups gates also models exist for various bits of tech and weapons V_models and W_models

ill bookmark that mod is MOH 3 on steam or GoG or some other digital distributer

yeah thanks, i saw the dhd model i thought that i would create that as converting stuff from gmod to medal of honor is a pain.
