As far as the next SGA novel, I'm not sure which one's coming next, but I'm fairly sure Sabine Bauer's new SGA novel is set pre-"Lifeline," and from a brief chat with Sabine (ages ago) I got the impression that Weir was fairly important to the plot. I don't really know any specifics, though, so stay tuned ...
THANK YOU! Hopefully that remains the case! It'll be nice to get one last Weir-friendly treat before the post-season 4 stories begin. I know they'll be entertaining as well, but I will miss having Elizabeth as a direct part of the stories.

Just thought I'd post to say that Stargate SG-1: The Barque of Heaven is now available from Fandemonium's online store. I have no idea how long it's been there, but I certainly didn't get an e-mail update sent to me like I was meant to. Regardless, I've already ordered it and I eagerly await reading.

I just got my email regarding the new release as well.

While checking the Fandemonium website I noticed that SG-1 novel # 13 by Holly Scott & Jaimie Duncan has had its title changed to Hydra. (It was Tin Team.) The book is still due out in April. Isn’t it unusual for the title to change this close to publication? Or did it change quite a while ago and Fandemonium just updated the listing today?

          Here's the list:

I just got Barque of Heaven in at the store, after weeks on backorder. Now all I need is payday...

One for me, one for a friend, and one for the shelf. Unfortuately there don't seem to be many Stargate fans in the area.

Yay! I just got an e-mail from Amazon that it was shipped! According to the mail I shall get it tomorrow already! I don't have to wait until March 17 as they first said! I'd say Saturday is a perfect day for shipping, since I can start reading right in the morning and don't have to give it out of hand until finished.

              Suzanne, do you hear me?Squeeeeeeeee!

LOL, yep, heard you all the way down here Astra.

The Barque of Heaven has now been officially released. I'm so pleased. I hope everyone who buys it will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

                Cheers,
                Suzanne.

I got it at nine in the morning, and in the early afternoon I was halfway through! Love it so far - the characteres, the relationships - will give a long feedback once I read it all.

You got extra points for Jack mentioning (twice)
                  Spoiler:
                  "I have to pee!"
This isn't often thought about at TV or in a book.

Deservedly so, I'm about half way through it at the moment and it's a fantastic read - great team interaction, impeccably researched Egyptian mythology and spot on characterisations. A truly stellar first outing. And finally a true team story with equal emphasis on all the characters. I hope we will see more from her in the very near future.

Sadly, my copy of Barque didn't arrive today, making this the first time that Fandemonium have ever broke the "1 to 2 working days" delivery time for the mainland UK...I desperately hope that I get it tomorrow so I can start reading it right away.

Oh man! You guys make it sound so good! I was going to wait to read Barque until my trip to Hawaii in a couple weeks...no way I am waiting now! It better be in my mailbox when I get home today!!

I'm finally making my way through Casualties of War now and I have to say Elizabeth (Do you have anything shorter? Lizzy, Libby, Beth?) you've done a great job so far on your first solo outing. Characterizations are spot on so far - as they bloody should be - and the story is kicking off. So, I'll be checking back in soon enough.

Well... it is Jack, after all. And given the nature of the story I figure it deserved a mention or two.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the book!
