Think of just how much info is in the database though. it took daniel what 50 years to just go through their recorded history. imagine having to go through all the technology and understand brand new ideas and technologies just to be able to know what other even more advanced tech does. Also quick point loved the new style asgard computer.

They will never build all of the stuff that the Asgard used. But they should build those autodialer devices so they could dial Atlantis so they wouldn't have to be on a ship for lets say 4 days to get there.

If Sam changes the transporter into the matter generator, which there is no guarantee she will even think of now they have no immediate need for it, then she may be able to just download the schematics into the buffer and simply pop one out

look at it this way. You give a chimp an Uzi. Teach him how to hold it and fire it. Sure he'll do damage but when the rounds run out, he isnt gonna know how to make new ones is he? He isnt gonna b able to make a new gun, nor understand how it works. Teach him sign language and how to read, then give him an instruction manual.. he still wont be able to do it.

Yes we should use the tech available to fight the Ori, but dont expect mass integration of asgard tech into everything earth does, as we simply arent ready or smart enough to make it work properly.

Mate you seem to be taking things personally. Most of our fellow members tried to explain that before we can use the technology, we need to LEARN a few things. You get a bike, before you can use it properly you need to learn how to ride it. Rest assured, we are the 5th race, and with time we will get the hang of those devices, thingies, thingie ma jiggies, whatever you want to call them. Having the technology is not the same as being able to use it. You are right Thor spent his last moments to simplify things, but what does simple mean when it comes to the Asgard? Do we have access to raw asgard material?

But inmagine a interactive human guiding the chimp in the making of new ammo, one the chimp seen how it created he can recreate it.

Then once he learn he can teach other people to do it.

Interactive thor will make it ten times more easier to learn.

He could give us exact instructions on how to adapt their technology to integrate it in to every day lives, like a teacher teaching a student.

They did not just provide a book they provided a teacher who can give answers and help you solve problems in your understanding of their technology.

Carter was able to work out most of the functions in a matter weeks of the computer core, and that just one person with hundred possible thousands of scientist exploring it and plus with thor guidence and helping them out on any problems they encounter.

Puut it simply it will/should take no longer than a genration at most for most if all tech becomes available.

With their matter replication technology it does not matter about their raw material we can just replicate it and using their star maps and repository it would also be easy for them just to thor where they could find the resources they find.

Given that thor has work with carter and know here capabilities, he would of created a interactive hologram capable of interacting in a way that human could understand easily.

Given the asguard was reliance on us being able to defeat the ori by ourselves then they would enable access to all their knowledge as simple as possible.

This starts to sound like a cartoon. Why not replicate Orilla and the whole Asgard race while you are at it?

OMG! Whats the point of being the Fifth race, if the alliance is not around anymore?

Because perhaps we are seeing us becoming the fifth race in perhaps the wrong way.

See this is my new theory, presented here right now.

What if their was no such alliance in the way we think of it. What if it was just a agreement amongst the four races that they should protect the Milky way Galaxy from all threats, so handing the responsibility for the protection of the galaxy to the fifth time to us.

Doesn't LYA use her mind powers to dial the gate? I remember in Enigma and the NOX that's how they dial the gate. Anyone can show me an episode where there is an autodialler? I might have missed it....
