What Kind Of Weapons Do We Need For Wraith.

That's actually a 20 round drum and would probably be empty in rather less than 9 seconds. I don't know that buckshot would necessarily be the way to deal with the Wraith; if their bodies are resistant to impact trauma - and they seem to be that, as well as havign the rapid healing - you'd want bigger rounds, not more.

All academic anyway, since all weapons will be precisely as effective as the plot demands; no more, no less.

Yeah I know P90 is standard issue for SG and right now they can't get any new weapons from earth etc... but keeping P90s and berettas to fight the wraith seem inappropriate. I would like to see some heavier weaponry used to fight the wraith in season 2 because as some guy in this thead said before "this one magazine per wraith thing has to stop" or something along the lines of that.

Besides m4 carbine, p90 and beretta I've seen another gun with a drum magazine attached to it that sheppard used to take down a wraith dart anyone know what that was I couldn't get a good look at it.

Also last time I checked the desert eagle actually does match the punching power of the magnum .44 but I'm sure it dosen't beat the S&W model 500!!!

That was the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, otherwise known as "SAW."
