Sorry to correct you but he did scifi/mystery/fantasy BEFORE Atlantis. He was guest in "Tru Calling" and in "Birds of Prey".

I said he didn't get into it until after SGA, but I did not say he had never done it prior. The bulk of his work prior to SGA was mostly drama.

Yeah, I guess you can split his career into pre and post Atlantis. Still, after Atlantis he's done Warehouse 13 (sci-fi), Change of Plans ( comedy, drama), Good Day For It (crime, thriller), Ferocious Planet (sci-fi), Fringe (drama, horror, mystery) and pending The Butcher (action), so it's not fair to say he's only done sci-fi. Some of his biggest roles have been other stuff. The genres above are from IMDB.

PS: To FH - He said in an inteview he'll be going to Brussels for the filming.

I know of one sound stage in the Brussels area which is near the airport. And another one that's in the region, so maybe I should ask him about it when I see him at the Halfway convention in Marseille three weeks from now.

That's true but I am pretty sure he needed time to find his niche. His breakthrough was with SGA, but, if Thought Crimes were picked up for a show I am sure that had been also the point in his carreer. Oh, another mystery/crime thing

A 2004 issue of the comic, Metal Hurlant #10 has a story called "Masters of Destiny" descibed to "weaves a tale of destiny and love among the stars" and "A dying mercenary tells his buddy about a race of peoples who can tell you the ordained moment of your death. He imagines it will make his life richer, and his end still has some surprises in store for him."
