Thank you. I'm hoping she goes to see Crockett because I want him to explain it to me as well.

Seriously, though, I do have vague ideas for a follow up along with a story title. I think Crockett will take over once I make a start at writing it.

TP's Hive Season 4, Episode 12, One Among Billions
Spike starts to open up about his experiences while trapped on an AU Earth - and TP makes a shocking discovery...

        Spoiler:

Falling, falling... would it be better to survive, or be smashed to pieces? Survival instinct kicks in and chooses survival. Alone now, but never alone – solitude would be preferable. Living in a seething mass of humanity yet lonely, misunderstood, isolated. Knowing you are superior in every way but vastly outnumbered by the rabble, you lay low and try to stay invisible, realising that if they sense how different you are they will turn on you and devour you. Afraid, alone, longing for connection, somewhere to belong... but there is no one. You prey for death but fight to survive.

        *

TP wakes up from her bad dream and pads off to her kitchen in search of something to bring on sleep again. She’s completely unaware that Spike had wakened from virtually the exact same nightmare and is brooding in a dark corner of her sitting room.
        “Can’t sleep either, huh?”
TP almost jumps when Spike speaks to her from the doorway of her little kitchen.
“I’m fixing some hot milk and honey... want some?” she asks. Spike makes a face. “Tryptophan has the same effect on wraith as humans, you know – it’ll help you sleep.” When Spike doesn’t respond she adds, “Nightmares again? Talking about it might help,” she suggests.
“I was stuck on an AU Earth for several months,” Spike shrugs, “It was no big deal.”
“Of course not. We all have recurring nightmares about things that don’t bother us.” Spike knows she won’t let it drop and he sighs deeply but says nothing. “If you don’t want to talk to me about it, I understand. I am human after all. But I think you should get it out of your system... maybe Seth or Aurel? They’re good listeners.”
TP makes to leave but Spike puts his hand on her arm. “I’ll tell you my dream.”

        *

TP’s astonished expression brings sudden realisation to Spike – his nightmare is almost identical to hers. “But you’re human,” he says, “How could you feel so isolated among your own kind?”
“Because it felt like they weren’t my own kind; I was as much an alien as you were.” TP puts her cup down on the table and then takes Spike’s hand. “I’ve had more sense of belonging in less than a year on this hive than in 50 years on Earth. And now I know I’m not the only human to feel that way.”
“I know,” Spike says. TP misses the wistful tone in his voice.
“I think every woman on this hive has felt like that.”
“No, I don’t mean here... I mean on Earth... there was someone...”
“Oh,” is all TP can think of to say.
Spike turns his head, his emotional pain clear on his face. “I’ve changed my mind. I don’t want to talk about it,” he says firmly.
“But maybe we can find her for you?”
“No! You don’t understand!” Spike growls angrily. “I fed on her!” He gets up and strides out of the room, leaving TP staring. She gets up to go after him, but a quiet voice at her bedroom door stops her.
“Leave him, Babe,” Seth says firmly.
“But... he’s upset, I must have... I should apologize...”
“You did nothing wrong, though he thinks he did.”
“He fed on a human. He’s a wraith, it’s what you do. He was just trying to survive.”
“Yes and if that were all he’d be fine.”
“Then he’s right; I don’t understand. Was it because she helped him?”
“In a way, though he could reconcile even that eventually.”
“Well, what then? Why is it so painful for him?”
“Two reasons, I suppose. Because he fed on her all the way, to her death, and he thinks he should have been able to control himself better…” Seth’s voice trails away.
After a few moments TP asks, “And the other reason?”
“Because she was you.” The statement hits TP square between the eyes. “Well, at least she was an AU you,” Seth adds.

Wow, did not see that one coming!!!!!!!!!!

Really good Episode TP, and just like I feel when I finish a chapter of "Pillows don't Growl" can't wait for the next one.

Don't know about you but all help is gratefully received by me when writing Particularly when I got myself into a hole with my story and I may have to start again.

Now this is a fascinating situation for them to resolve. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next part. A great start and I didn't guess what the revelation was going to be either.

It's on the WWA site. It's not part of the TP Hive series so is with TP's other stories which aren't part of the series.

Well that was a very different ending TP, but all the more shocking as I didn't see that coming. Your stories about your wraith boys are very good but this one has "good karma".

Keep going tell Spikes story you should because the producer didn't.

Yeah two great stories in one night.

                      TP’s Hive, Season 4, Episode 13, Love’s Greatest Sacrifice
TP comforts Spike by explaining to him just what humans are capable of doing in the name of love
Book excerpt from “Breaking Dawn” book 4 of the Twilight saga by Stephanie Meyers.
                      Spoiler:
TP abandons all thoughts of sleep and demands Seth tells her everything he knows. “I thought Spike hadn’t spoken to anyone about what happened to him on Earth, apart from a rudimentary summary of how he got home?”
“He hasn’t,” Seth replies. “But when he has those dreams Aurel and I can sense what he’s feeling. Between us we’ve pieced together a string of images.”
“And?” TP watches Seth’s face intently. “Tell me!”
“From what we can gather, it all happened pretty much as he told us – getting money from the casino, building the subspace transmitter... but he had help.”
                      “The woman he fed on...?”
“We think she helped him for some time, out in the desert alone. She left to throw the authorities off his scent and she wasn’t supposed to return.”
“But she went back to him?”
“Unfortunately for her, yes,” Seth says solemnly. “He was sick, weak, desperate... and he had Gabriel in tow, who was in a bad way.” Seth’s face clearly shows empathy for his brother’s dilemma. “I think if he thought they had any realistic chance of being picked up by a hive in time, he would have taken her with him, but he thought she was their last hope of staying alive.” Seth looks at TP’s eyes and hears her unspoken question. “I sensed there was very strong feeling between them. She made... I think you humans call it a sacrifice?”
“She loved him,” TP says with conviction.

                      *

“I think she did but I fed on her anyway. How am I supposed to live with that?”
“By understanding why she did it.” After almost a week of repeated nightmares, TP has finally torn it out of Spike.
“Why SHE did it? But I was the one who killed her.”
“You did what you had to do to survive, Spike. You were sick, dying, trying to look after Gabriel, and she was the only one there.”
                      “I could have held on… ”
“No, you told me you didn’t know how long it would take once you got the signal out. You might have died waiting in the desert.”
“Then that’s what should have happened.”
“But she wouldn’t have let you,” TP tells Spike gently. “You said she didn’t fight – believe me, if she hadn’t wanted to give herself to you she would have fought you tooth and nail.”
                      “How could you know that?”
“Because she was me and it’s what I would have done. She was ashamed of her own species and figured it was the only way she could make up for what they did to you and Gabriel.” TP is pacing the room now, animated by the strength of her feeling.
She picks up one of a pile of thick books on her table and it flops open at a page she’s marked. “Listen to this,” she tells Spike and reads a passage from the book in her hand. “You could run from someone you feared, you could try to fight someone you hated… but when you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give to your beloved, how could you not give it?”
TP closes the book and feels a wave of empathy for Spike, who still looks striken. She’s compelled to make him understand. “Without you she had nothing left to live for anyway,” she says. “Sacrificing herself for you gave her life meaning. She died knowing she was a part of something bigger than herself, that it was her destiny.”
TP stops pacing and looks at Spike, sensing a feeling of peace wash over him as he asks, “Do you think she’s forgiven me?”
“There’s nothing to forgive,” TP reassures him. “She gave herself to you willingly. It’s called love, Spike.” TP shrugs. “Though I’ve never met a human who’d do more than talk about it.”
Spike’s eyes glisten and glitter when he looks at TP and his voice catches on his own emotion as he says, “I have. Twice.”
