Ooops. Sorry about that.. It's why I like people to check what I've done in case I've forgotten something important.

Any time you like because he's already in the game.

I've just put that pic in the album because it's a lot better than the one I originally had. He's cute.

I've now emailed Fandom Addict and asked her if she has any preferences for Spike.

Fandom Addict's real life has got incredibly hectic so she never seems to have time to play any more. This leaves us with the following problem -

Spike is supposed to be with Fandom Addict's game alter ego, Afa, all the time. This means that he's lost from the game world apart from any rare occasions when she might have a chance to come on here for a few minutes.

Suggestion. We claim Spike back and allocate him as co-owned by the game organisers so we can all role play him. Fandom Addict then has permenant Borrowing permission for role playing him if she ever has a chance to come on here for a while. Apart from Spike being a very popular SGA Wraith, the original idea for him was that he was going to open casinos etc.
Yes, please do this. I wanted game Mar to play cards with Spike, but he was never around.

I've emailed her now about the decision.

We'd better give her a couple of days to reply before going ahead because of this in Spike's character guide entry -

He spends most of his time in the company of his personal Worshipper, Fandom Addict, exploring the Planet for long lengths of time.

In order to bring him back into the game world we'll have to come up with a reason as to why he's stopped exploring the Planet with her. If we don't hear from Fandom Addict we'll have to say she's gone back to live on Earth for some reason.

*Waves* Just read the email about Spike. That's fine. I have even less time online than I did just a few weeks ago, so it's a good idea. You all should enjoy Spike as much as I did (still do! ).

If you're still here, do you have any preferences? If we haven't heard anything by tomorrow we'll think of some reason why Spike isn't with Afa all the time now.

                      Possible new player

Cadaveria sent me a PM asking for information. I gave her the links to Introduction./Joining/Rules and game guides and asked her to make a post in this thread if she's still interested. I've got a lot more guides to update so if she does post an appplication can someone help her to create her game alter ego?

Ciannwn tells me I should post mini-fics here, so here is a v short story from TP's HIve about when TP meets the original Commander of her hive!
                          Spoiler:

                          When TP Met Sethiroph

TP couldn’t believe that Todd had actually gifted her a wraith hive – a fully crewed wraith hive at that! But when she discovered that the hive had had an original Commander and that he’d deposed that Commander so that she could choose her own crew she was livid! So much so that Todd knew he had no choice but to arrange the meeting TP insisted upon so that she could apologise in person.

Sethiroph was also livid. He had been loyal to the Supreme Commander of the Alliance for a number of years and as such he had learned the value of collaboration with humans for the benefit of wraith.
But this was beyond the pale – the Commander had made a human female queen of his hive and to rub salt into the wound, made it clear that it wasn’t even his hive anymore! And now he had to face the humiliation of a meeting with her.

The second he saw her Sethiroph was taken aback. This was no ordinary human female; for a start she was as tall as him with straight flame red hair hanging down her back to her waist, two thick braids falling from her temples in front. She wore clothing in the traditional wraith military style and held herself with considerable pride.
She looked him straight in the eye and said without preamble, “You have my deepest and sincere apologies, Commander. I had no idea this had happened.” There was no humility in her voice; she was doing this out of courtesy and respect not regret. “Unfortunately before I was informed,” she gave Todd a pointed sideways look, “I had already installed a Commander and it would not be honourable for me to renege on that. However, I have a proposition for you…”

Sethiroph was not the only one impressed by TP during that meeting. Todd knew she had it in her, but he hadn’t realised she would be quite so quick to learn the more underhand side of command!
But he was content that she now had in place the perfect crew for her needs: Eddie, Greg and Bob would ostensibly be in charge, with him and Steve advising her. But the real power behind TP’s throne would be Sethiroph, a traditional wraith, who will not only be a discreet and diligent Commander, but also fiercely loyal to TP – and to him.

Sethiroph knew humans to be duplicitous, but usually only for their own ends; this was the first human he had met whose schemes were purely out of respect for wraith; not only him, but those she had earlier promoted. This TP was a woman of honour.
He knew the truth of this because he had felt her in his mind almost at once, sensed her probing him to see if she could trust him. When he in turn probed her mind he knew that she would deal with him as she would have him deal with her: no back-stabbing, no game-playing, and if they were ever at loggerheads they would see each other coming.
He let her know that he accepted her as his queen and as such she could trust him with her life. And he did this by allowing her to know his name.

I've had a chance to read your concerns regarding the in-game time system for the Deveareaux event.

Dialogue: Having a conversation with another character is usually fine. When the person who's character(s) you're talking with posts next, the conversation can continue. Granted, this takes a little getting used to, as you can't "assume that so and so is going to say something in particular." You almost have to improvise as you go.

How much in-game time is used: The time frame for the Deveareaux opening is 1 night, so when the event is done, everyone will be leaving. How "long" an event is (in terms of the in-game time system) is determined by the person who is running the particular event. In this case, i've decided to make the event a single night. When things are done at Deveareaux, everyone will be able to either stay at hive95 for the night if they wish, or leave for home.

Getting in the mood everytime the story advances does need a little adjustment. Unfortunately, with time-zone issues and real life issues, the event can't advance quickly some days. The good thing about this system is you can re-read the previous several posts to see where things are as well as "prime up" for your next post. ^.^
