Xiaos smile faltered slightly, pink and black mist appearing where her eyelashs should have been. "You are niether young nor old, nor are you one of the Others. You have access to energy of the Ancients powers. Yet... more controlled" She said as if stating a fact, a fact of appraiseal or something else, it was hard to tell. She blinked, the pink and black mist trailing over her eyes like a veil of sorts. "You are not of the Protoss, if you were of the Protoss I would have felt you upon arrival to this land." She took a movement then, it was almost time to hurry. Her foot went backwards into the gate.

The witch nodded, "I can not tell you who i am or what i am able to do so." and she cocked her head to the side, and raised her hand slightly as a small ball of energy formed and it slowly grew a bit before letting the ball collapse, "that was only a sample of what i can do."

Xiao's smile faded slowly as she felt the power build then fade. "You are strong, but you are not Protoss either. If you were of the Protoss, I would have felt your presence like you felt mine. When I felt you, I first thought you Alesian, yet this is not so." Maybe she should stay to talk? Then again... She pulled her foot from the gate slowly, she could feel the countdown of how long it would be active would last now. But if she had to she could reactivate the gate to go home, she seriously doubted she would have that chance now.

Rik stood in the midst of this word war. he had learnt long ago never get involved in a fight, if you werent invited.

"When your done. just let me know. I ahve things to do and picking up bits of ancients is not on that list"

Jana looked at Rik, "She is the ancient, I am not, but I am just as powerful." and looked towards Xiao, "I am not, but I am probably just as powerful as they are... and we can't allow you to leave, you know too much."

For a split second Xiao looked ready to backflip through the active stargate. But it took all of her willpower alone to keep herself where she was at Riks words. She eyes Jana for a moment, pink mist swirling at the hems of her black and scarlet dress. It was not that she did not want to remain, but she knew that there would be questions, and maybe even one to go searching for her. so she said as if thinking. "One that controls a matter unlike any other would be best left alive. Even as a prisoner, darkness can overcome the light." She noticed Jana seem to flinch, or so it appeared as she spoke, but she acted as if she never saw it. "Unless . . . . " She looked to the still active gate, then at the two strike teams. Maybe she did have a way home . . . .

"You speak in riddle at the same time. It's a struggle at times with the amount of power that one can control." The witch began and continued softly, "dark matter, power... " her eyes took on an even darker color, and refocused her gaze, I don't know how far off I am in what i just said." she replied softly as her eyes changed back to their normal color.

Xiaos smile was all the answer that Jana needed, she was right on the mark, dead center of that mark in point of fact. "You are a riddle master then. Well played." The 'gate was coming up on its thirty eight minute end point. "Perhaps we can discuss this little agenda. . . . at my home? With you as my guest" her smile slowly grew, but the odd wolflike feralness in her eyes never faded. In fact it seemed to get. . . . more feral? The 'gate passed its thirty eighth minute and stayed active. Mostly because Xiao had taken a half step backwards and stuck her foot in the gate. Her feral smile never wavering.

Rik looked at the Jana then at Xiao. then he muttered something in Forerunner, which roughly translated as, "Why do these people insist and fighting... we got slightly more pressing issues to deal with then petty differences of race."

With That Rik took out his MA5B and stood by the wall weapon pointed at the floor safety engaged.

Teal'c accepted the mug from O'Neill and chugged it down in one gulp. He looked down at Jack before answering.

"No he has not given me a time for a briefing. However there is a development inside the gateroom. A Female visitor mysteriously activated the gate and is in a stand down with a couple of security teams and Rik. I strongly urge that we make our way to the armory and then head to the gate room to render our assistance before the situation escalates further."

Teal'c once again stood with his hands behind his back waiting for Jack to answer.

"That doesn't sound very good....." Jack said deadpanning at mention of the event in the gateroom. He turned to Noah. "Get your team together and meet at the control room. IF the Presidents got us a work order we gotta do it." Jack said standing up. "Teal'c, radio." he said holding out a hand, no doubt Teal'c had grabbed one off the rack by the gateroom door. if the woman hadn't wrecked the things.

Teal'c handed Jack the radio he had grabbed no doubt anticipating one would be requested.

"It does not appear she has done any damage as of yet but she did have what Daniel Jackson and Major Carter would call a ZPM. I believe she threw it through the activated gate. We must hurry if we are to get there in time to help them resolve the situation."

Teal'c once again waited for further instructions from O'Neill senseing that time was of the essence.

"The old powerade bottle from that one planet we found a few weeks ago? Wasn't Richards to recharge that? OR was that Carter?" Jack asked taking the offered radio ajnd turning it on to Riks channel. "Richards this is Jack, what's going on, Teal'c reported something going on at the gate?" Jack only knew of Rik by word of mouth, and had never met him personally before until now. he always thought him one of the strong silent types, similar to Teal'c. A calm and cool man under pressure.

Rik heard his radio, "The usual arguement sir. it seems that SG22 member have taken a dislike to a guest on the base. Its under control."

Rik had never met Jack O'Neill. But then again. very few people spoke to Rik as it was so, it was probably for the best.

Jack looked from the radio to Teal'c, "SG-22? I didn't know there was such a team." he spoke into the radio. "There's a few guests on base, but this one might be worth chatting with, what's our guest look like? Anyonew we know?" Jack wondered who would want to comandeer the gate this early in the day.
