Meanwhile back in the lab Lt Gates sets off to work on one of the puddlejumpers that have broken down

Lt Gates: Zorak can you come here please??
Zorak: yes Lt
Lt Gates: Can you check the maintainance for this puddlejumper, also the technology on it is rather bizarre
Zorak: yes Lt and what do you mean bizarre
Lt Gates: well the technology that is normally on a puddlejumper is basic yet very complicated for people who don't know what they are doing. I don't believe I have ever seen this technology before

* Lt Gates shows Zorak the tablet*

Zorak: Oh yes I see what you mean
Lt Gates: This is going to be alot of work, Can you please try and find out on the main computer what this could all mean
Zorak: I could try
Lt Gates: okay set to work and I will try and work some of it out

Riks Platoon went back to Gate duty and went back into the stupor they had been in before the wriaht attack. the only Member of riks platoon that was on watch other than rik was Cpl Mills.b

Zorak: Lt come and have a look at this maintainance somethings not right
Lt Gates: okay

*Lt Gates walks over to Zorak*

Lt Gates: interesting....the maintainance has changed aswell.....wait a minute.....have you noticed something?
Zorak: what do you mean Lt
Lt Gates: well if you look at the maintainance and then look at my tablet...they are totally different. I am reading different to what you have found
Zorak: okay let me have a look

* Lt Gates passes the tablet to Zorak*

Zorak: Someone has hacked into our systems
Lt Gates: yes I was thinking the same I best call in Amann

Lt Gates radio's Amann

Lt Gates: Amann I need you to come straight to the jumper bay we seem to have a problem
Amann: I am on my way

[Amann]

Amann responded to Lt. Gates and beamed down to the Jumper bay. He looked at Lt. Gates and then spoke.

"what is wrong exactly?"

Lt Gates: Well Amann one of the jumpers has not been working like it should be because the technology has gone wrong and I have just noticed that the technology is not something I have seen before. I have asked Zorak to check the maintainance for it and yet his seems normal while my tablet is picking something up that we don't understand, we think somehow the system may have been hacked. I wonder if you would take a look

Rik watched bored yet againl. as nothing seemed to happen these days. Rik put the battlerifle on his back and began guard duty with the rest of his platoon.

[Amann]

Amann took the pad and glanced at it. He frowned.

Me: This is not of my people's design. This is neither Ancient nor Alesian. This is something else. I believe this to be of Goa'uld origin. We need to quarantine this sector, us included.

Amann picked up the communicator and ordered forces to seal off the section they were in.

Me: Now we need to know what this is exactly. Lt. Gates, I need you to get that Sergeant and ask him to come up here. Maybe he has seen this technology before.

Lt Gates: Okay Sir

* Lt Gates radio's in Rik*

Lt Gates: Rik we have a problem up at the jumperbay we need you to come straight up because we need to know if you have seen a certain technology before and see if you can help
Rik: I am on my way Lt

Rik charges through the bunker to the Jumperbay. he reached the jumper back and stops running.

Me: what piece of technology do you want me to look at?
Lt Gates: this *Lt gates hands the piece of tech to Rik*
Me: Hmm yes i may have seen this before. i believe it to be a scrambler devise. The goauld are well known for using it, they seem to think if they can not use the technology then no one can. but how it came here i dont know.
Amman: you sure about that?
Me: Yes Amman sir. i dont make guesses when it comes to enemy technology.
Lt Gates: Ok so how do we get it out and restore the technology of this jumper.
Me: simple really. find out which system the device is embedded into and deactivtae that system then remove the device, removing it before my destroy this jumper and most of the bunker

Me: Okay, let me have a look

* I search the different systems till I come across the one that is embedded*

Me: Right I have found the system that has it embedded according to this the virus has been terminated which means it should make it easier for me to get rid of it.

* I deactivate the system and take out the device that has the virus on*

Me: Right I just need to clean this down and then I can put it back into the system and reactivate it

* Cleans the device down and puts it back in then starts the reactivate*

Me: should be okay now

Me: Okay, let me have a look

Amann looked a bit nervous.

Me: I do not want to take any chances. Have a shuttle transport this jumper into space and lets see what kind of trap this is.

..Lt Gates ponders for a while and stares at Amann..

Me: Amann, I see your point of view but the device has been wiped now
Amann: Yes I know but I think we should get other peoples opinions about the technology
Me: Well how about we make a deal??
Amann: What kind of deal??
Me: I will reinsert this device back into our system if the technology is still different and the virus has not been unbedded then we will go with your plan. If of course the device has been wiped fully and the maintainance is normal again then we can just keep a secure eye on it

I look at the jumper something about it was makiong me feel uneasy. as though something was telling me that the jumper was not safe. b ut i couldnt put my finger on it.

Me: Can i leave now? i have a platoon waiting for me.
Amann: yes go. but be aware that we may need your platoon on duty else where

Me: so what do you think??
Amann: well we could try that

All of a sudden different readings for the puddlejumper comes up on the tablet

Me: Amann we have another problem there is more readings coming through even thought the device with the virus embedded has been deactivated successfully.

*Amann takes a look at the tablet*

Amann: What is this??
Me: well it is the gou'ld I can see that now all I need to do is translate it and also I need Rik here to help as he understands it more than I do
Amann: Okay well got on with the translations and hurry
Me: Okay sir

* radio's in rik*

Me: Rik we need you again there is more translations coming through even though the device with virus embedded has been deactivated. I need to try and translate some of the scripts could you help??
Rik: Yes I can I am on my way

Lt Gates can hear Rik adama speaking with his platoon

Rik: Platoon I need you to keep at your formation I have business else where, if you need me you know how to radio me
Cpr Mills: Okay sir
