We also saw many Stargate episodes before the US.
I hear there's supposed to be a UK version and a US version of Torchwood, so it'll be interesting to see if I notice any difference between them once I've watched on Thursday.

Ah, I didn't know that about SG-1 and Torchwood. Was it when SG was aired on Sky1? I was always behind cos I waited for it to air on C4.

Yes it was when SG was on Sky 1. We also saw Continuum first before it was aired elsewhere.

Wait until we've seen the episode on Thursday and I'll tell you if there's enough difference for you to look for the US version.

Unfortunately, it didn't 'stream' for me It was all stop and go, and I never got to see it all the way through because right at that moment, the glass on the upper part of our storm door decided to shatter... raining glass, inside and out! So, I'll have to wait for it to get to netflix. But thanks again for the info.

Though I did read someone claiming that they watched it through Netflix on the STARZ Live feed that Netflix has. My guess is though that it will be blocked next week.

I'm a bit annoyed that Torchwood won't air over here until next week.

I thought that was really stupid and have never quite understood that...why the difference in air dates for co-financed productions.

If I remember right the same thing happened with BSG. At one point it sucked having to wait while the UK got eps first.

Me too! I couldn't wait so I found *cough* an alternative method of viewing it.

I'll probably be joining you since I'm not going to pay for STARZ just to watch this.

I always figured I'd catch up with it when it comes to Netflix anyway. I don't know about the STARZ/Netflix connection. I don't even know how that would work. But I'll look around the NF site, and see what I can find.

Click that and then there should be a link that says "Live Starz Channel". I think it shows whatever is currently running on one of the Starz channels. You have to use IE as your browser.

I've never bothered to use it because Starz hardly ever has anything worth watching anyhow.

Thanks. I'll check that out. We don't have any premium channels. Every time we had one (with the exception of Showtime, where I first was able to watch SG1) it didn't show anything I was interested in. But if I dropped one, to pick up another, the other would stop showing anything I was interested in. lol Netflix works for me AND we only have basic cable because financially, it's a luxury and we found out we really weren't watching tv except for the occasional FOX (FRINGE) or ABC (LOST), CBS (every show I watch in primetime is on CBS for the most part), so why spend the extra money for not using the box. My father has full cable, so I just record scifi (syfy?) there and bring it home here.
