Bad News: Jayne doesn't know the words so he starts singing "The Hero of Canton" instead.

Good news: The Alliance dudes know the song, so they join in.

Bad News: Now there are Alliance dudes on Serenity!

Good news: While hiding, Simon finds the controls to activate a Cry Baby and the Alliance dudes rush off to their ship to go rescue a coffee can transport vessel that's in trouble.

(also good news, Amaranth is now paying attention to the timeline on this little game...oops! )

Bad News: While Simon was distracted, River had snuck on board the Alliance ship. Now she's heading toward's the cry baby, too!!!

Good New: The Alliance people are so foucused on the Cry baby none of them notice her

Bad news: The Alliance people start to suspect something is up when River becomes their ship and starts telling them all about their childhoods.

Their childhoods are all so full of angst and unrealized potential that they're distracted by calling home mom and don't notice Mal & Zoe sneaking on board.

Good news: Mal had forgotten all about his first puppy and promises River he'll get her one if she comes out of hiding and follows him and Zoe back to Serenity.
