Nothing happend to it. Mitch Pilegi (Colonel Caldwell) has been unavailable, so rather than feature the Daedalus with a new commander, they simply introduced a new ship. However, the Daedalus will return for a few episodes later on in the season.

we haven't heard about it in a while but I don't think it was destroyed.

Mitch Pileggi will be back as Col Caldwell in BAMSR so I'm guessing that's when we'll see the Deadalus again

No. It's actually waiting in the void between two plot dimensions for the writers to notice it.
They keep sending signals, but they're screwed, since writers decided that long range transmissions don't work in subspace (nevermind Asgards communicating from hyperspace with ships out of hyperspace, etc.).

Just wait. The time tides might get toggled by a massive hypernova of script particles.
