Theory about Hot Zone

In Hot Zone we were introduced to a nano virus that would kill humans and not Ancients or Ancient-gened humans. Now in SG-1 we were told that the Orii think of the Ancients as evil. Maybe when they were both making their way to Ascension, they were trying to work together, and they had a difference of opinion.

Ancients were planting humans across the milky way and pegasus. What if the Orii were using the nano-virus as a way to stop the Ancients efforts? Or maybe to punish those who didn't follow their beliefs?

The bottom line is, what if the Orii were the ones who created it, and it was in Atlantis, because the Ancients were trying to find a weakness... ?

Just a theory, and I dont have a cemented motivation behind it, but so far, the only known enemy who would have done something like this seems to be the Orii. Why? Let's hear your thoughts/opinions.

Actaully, our Ascended Ancients were shielding us. THey may have been aware of others and conquered them already.

Here's my theory on the plague on atlantis. What do we know about the ancients??
They came from another Galaxy, they faced a plauge in MW, they were researching a plague in Pegasus.
Now here is where it gets tricky.

The alterran's have obviously gone backwards technologically.

Now, the best way to do this is as the Aschen did. Create a plague to thin out the population. Then, when they are weak, ytou take over. Gradually, the aschen de-evolved that world to a farming community.

What if the Ori did the same to the Alterrans??

What if the Pegasus ancients had captured the virus and were trying to mutate it to stop it???
This could be the same thing that happened in MW. The Ori hit it with a plague to weaken it, but the Ancients decided to wipe it all out rather than let the Ori win.

It seems that when the ancients ascended, they tried to ***** slap the Ori down, but they lost and that is why they are protecting MW, cause the Ori took their homeworlds. MAybe they are guiding us in the hopes we can eventually free their descendants??
Certainly, they have been helping us, even if by not doing anything to stop the one that actively interfere(Oma).
