I found some really good barbeque sauce at a little hole-in-the-wall smokehouse in Bandera, Texas. Totally yummy. I convinced the guy to sell me a pint of it. He makes it himself, and so he sold me a large styrofoam cup of it. I put it in a squeeze bottle at home - terrific on chicken especially.

I can understand reluctance to use ketchup on bacon. But I think newbies are closer to beef in texture, flavor and so forth, so ketchup should be an option.
