Hey Guys! My name is Mike and I have been a Fan of Stargate SG-1 Ever since the late 90's. My enthusiasm for the show has always been with me, but has recently been revitalized when I purchased seasons 1-7 on DVD and now with the launch of SG-U I am in heaven!

I am from the Dallas / Fort Worth area of Texas and I found Gate World whilst trying to see if there were any Stargate Fan Groups in my area.

I am totally getting back into SG with a passion, currently working on getting most of my gear sorted out as well.

Looks like there is loads of reading to do on here, so I better get started, but right away if anyone can point me to a thread where fan clubs and groups have been discussed that would be appreciated.

(especially after reading the forum about being a gatehead). I actually started out on the whole stargate thing from the end...watched Continuum, then Ark of truth. That got me HOOKED! thank goodness for netflix, I have now watched all of SG1, and am on season 3 of SGA. LOVE IT.

So anyway, Great to be on!
